Suarez Island Signature Pizza
Ingredients:-
Pizza Dough:
Traditional pizza dough with a splash of coconut milk for a tropical touch. -
Tomato Sauce:
Homemade tomato sauce with a hint of lime zest. -
Cheese:
A mix of locally produced goat cheese and mozzarella. -
Toppings:
A mix of fresh shrimp, red onions and fresh cilantro (often combined with bell peppers and oregano).
Some like to add lightly toasted coconut shavings or a mango-habanero sauce. -
Optional Side Dish:
An exotic salad with papaya, carrots, cucumbers and a light dressing made of lime juice, olive oil and a hint of manuka honey.

Prepare the Dough:
Make the pizza dough and let it rest. When kneading, add a splash of coconut milk to give the dough a tropical touch. -
Make the Tomato Sauce:
Prepare a homemade tomato sauce with lime zest and cilantro. -
Assemble the Pizza:
Roll out the dough and spread the tomato sauce on it. Sprinkle the cheese over the sauce. -
Add Toppings:
Evenly distribute the toppings on the pizza. -
Bake:
Bake the pizza at 220°C (425°F) for about 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the crust is crispy. -
Optional Final Touch:
Optionally sprinkle the toasted coconut shavings and/or mango-habanero sauce on the pizza.
