Castles of Suarez Island

We currently have two castles that are still used today both in ownership of the Royal Suarez family.

The first is the main residence of the Royal family located in Suarez City. The Castle was first constructed in 1756 and has had many improvments and rebuilds done with the most notable expansion being in 1884 where the Castle was doubled in size.

The second in use Castle is located on the coast and used now as a Holiday residence. Previously it was used as a well defended fort as it sat at the top of the coast line. Built in 1814 and later expanded in 1897 to allow for more guests to stay.
